TORONTO - (07/14/06) Navy FCU is about to embark onone of the biggest hiring plans ever for a credit union. The$25-billion credit union plans to hire about 920 new employees in2007, expanding its workforce by 18% to about 6,000 worldwide,according to Cutler Dawson, president of the worlds largestcredit union. The new hires will not only staff the credit union'sambitious branch expansion45 new facilities over the nextfive yearsbut also its new call center in Pensacola, Fla.,its member service centers and support staff, Dawson told TheCredit Union Journal Thursday during NAFCUs annualconvention.
