Navy FCU To Add 600 Jobs Amid Rapid Growth

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Navy FCU said this morning it plans to hire as many as 600 employees at its local call center campus to accommodate growth that included 400,000 new members last year.

The nation's biggest credit union now serves almost 3.9 million members.

The $47 billion Virginia-based credit union hired 700 employees at its Heritage Oaks campus in nearby Beulah in 2011, bringing the work force there to 2,200.

Navy FCU’s President Cutler Dawson was on site this afternoon to make the announcement.
