Navy Federal Tops Financial Brand’s 'Power 100'

MEDFORD, Ore.—Navy FCU has the greatest social media impact among credit unions, according to a new report from the Financial Brand.

The Financial Brand has released its “Power 100” for the third quarter, a ranking of the top banks and credit unions on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The report ranks FIs based on Facebook Likes, Twitter followers, and YouTube hits. The $54.5 billion Vienna, Va.-based Navy graded out with a combined “Power Score” of 638.7, Thrivent FCU 226.6, and Mountain America FCU 76.6, for the top three spots.

The report ranks CUs across the globe, with U.S. credit unions rounding out the top ten, respectively: America First, I-C, and The Golden 1. To make the top 100 this quarter, the minimum CU score was 7.
