Linda Fite, 61, was sentenced earlier this year to two-and-a-half years in prison for the cash thefts from the Cincinnati credit union, which prosecutors referred to as “C-Note Sandwiches”. They said she stole $100 bills from the middle of the bundles and replaced them in the cash vault with $1 bills. But she left $100 bills on the top and bottom, making it look like all of the bills in the bundles were $100s.
