ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA said it is offering a free mobile application that will allow consumers to find the nearest credit union branch.

The CU Locator app will be available for iPhone, iTouch and Android devices.
The app uses GPS technology to determine the closest credit union branches to a user’s current location. CU Locator app users can view results on a robust map or in a list that displays the nearest branch address, telephone number, branch hours of operation, web page information, and driving directions.
The free CU Locator mobile application is available for download from iTunes or the Android Market.
