NCUA Sets Series of 11 Town Hall Meetings

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA has scheduled a series of 11 Town Hall meetings across the country in October in order to discuss the new rules relating to corporate credit union operations and corporate legacy asset resolution.

“To make sure that credit union officials have an opportunity to be personally briefed and ask questions, we are holding at least two face-to-face meetings in every region to reach as many stakeholders as possible,” said NCUA Chairman Debbie Matz in a released statement. “NCUA Board members and senior staff will be on hand to discuss NCUA’s corporate initiatives in detail and engage in a two-way dialogue so that credit union leaders can more fully understand the choices available to them.”
