Owens has been atNCUA for five years and was brought in as special assistant toformer NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar in 2001.Owens served as a seniorcommunications advisor to the Board on policy matters, as well ascoordinated the agencys Access Across America economicempowerment initiatives. He plans to leave NCUA on March24.
