New Jersey CUs Get New CIF Option

HIGHTSTOWN, NJ – New Jersey credit unions now can invest in the Community Investment Fund (CIF) following an alliance between Corporate One FCU, the New Jersey CU Foundation (NJCUF) and the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF).

Funds invested in the CIF support the state CU initiatives of the New Jersey Credit Union Foundation and the NCUF’s national programs and grants, including Financial Reality Fairs and BEST Internship Program.

“Due to the uncertainty of the future of US Central, the new Corporate One CIF option offers credit unions the ability to choose products such as callable and bullet U.S. Government agency securities, as well as negotiable certificates of deposit (CDs),” the partners said in a statement.
