BUFFALO, N.Y. – Credit union executives and volunteers are mourning the death of Edwin Pustelnik, former president and CEO of Buffalo Fire Department FCU and 40-year member of the credit union’s board.

The former president of the $18-million credit union died April 20 at 77.
Pustelnik also served on the CU Association of New York’s Buffalo Chapter council from 1982-1988 and on the board of CUC Mortgage Corporation, serving for a number of years.
In honor of Pustelnik, the CU of New York has made a donation to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
