Federation Announces Speakers

NEW YORK-The National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions has announced some of the speakers for the group's 37th Annual Conference on Serving the Underserved, June 15-18, in Hollywood, Calif. Among the speakers: Sister Corinne Florek, a pioneer in community investing and founder of the Mercy Investment Partnership; Rex Johnson, the well-known expert on consumer lending; Donna J. Gambrell, director of the Treasury Department's CDFI Fund; Pete Crear, president of the World Council of Credit Unions; Tawana James, the head of NCUA's new Office of Minority & Women Inclusion; Jennifer Tescher, CEO of the Center for Financial Services Innovation, and Mark Pinsky, president of the Opportunity Finance Network.

NAFCU Redesigns Website

ARLINGTON, Va.-NAFCU has redesigned its website at www.nafcu.org. The association said the new site includes enhanced search capability, all-in-one event and hotel registration, online check-out for NAFCU products, and tracking ability for NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) recertification credits.
