ST. LOUIS - (03/29/05)The National Federation ofCommunity Development Credit Unions will hold an intensive seminaron CU responses to high-cost payday lending. The seminar willinclude panels by and for practitioners, as well as researchers andpolicymakers interested in on-the-ground responses to a growingproblem. The seminar will be held at the St. Louis Hilton AirportHotel, 1-6 p.m. on April 27. Registration is $75 for federationmembers and Community Development Partners, $135 for others.Limited scholarship assistance is available to small and low-incomecredit unions staying over for the NCUA PALs workshop in St. Louison April 28, "New Markets, New Members, and NewBusiness."
