TYLER, Texas – Kelly Community FCU shut all four of its branches Friday after a caller phoned in a bomb threat but didn’t say where.

Each branch was evacuated while officials searched for a bomb.
The scare began around 12:30 p.m., when an unknown person called the main number of the credit union and said there was a bomb. The incident lasted about 90 minutes. During that time the four buildings were searched from top to bottom and outside.
Police said it appeared to be a terrorist threat and the person responsible could face third-degree felony state charges and possibly federal charges.
