PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Northeast CU said it has joined the United Way of America’s “Pennies for Change” program, which allows members to automatically donate one penny for each Visa debit card transaction.

Members can sign up online on Northeast’s home banking page, by stopping by a local branch or by calling member service.
Donations will be distributed to local United Ways to support community building strategies in areas such as housing, healthcare, substance abuse and transportation.
