PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Northeast CU yesterday said it is making $10 million available to fund student loans in support of the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation.
Due to a drop in private sector funding, the state agency, along with other nonprofit agencies, has not been able to provide all of the necessary funds to lend to students.
The credit union is sending out letters and calling student members to let them know the credit union has provided funding for their student loans.
