Northwest Community CU Adds Raxco Software’s PerfectDisk Defragmentation Solution

EUGENE, Ore. – Northwest Community CU said it has implemented Raxco Software’s Perfect Disk 10 for ESX Server for its disk defragmentation and storage needs.

The $600 million credit union maintains 35 physical servers, 30 virtual servers running VMware's ESX Server and a Microsoft Exchange server that handles 270 users. The servers run the credit union's core financial platform, process loans, house multiple databases, provide file, digital document, email and voicemail storage, host a website and handle business administration.

With PerfectDisk, the company has automated the defragmentation of its physical servers and ESX servers, and has automated the compaction and defragmentation of its Exchange server.

Raxco Software is based in Gaithersburg, Md.
