Navy FCU Selects WAUSAU-FS
VIENNA, Va.–Navy FCU has selected WAUSAU Financial Systems (WFS) to provide it with a web-based branch capture application for capture, balance and review of all back counter check images. WFS will install the end-to-end solution, capturing check images and performing centralized balancing and image quality review at their headquarters.

CUMAnet Teams With DVA
BASKING RIDGE, N.J.–Credit Union Mortgage Alliance Network (CUMAnet) teamed up with the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) FCU to conduct a Loan Health Check-Up at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Washington.
The session answered members’ questions about their mortgages. Approximately 80 members signed up for the first event, but limited space prompted a second session to be scheduled later this month. Already, 40 members have registered for that event.
OSI Teams With Superior Press
GLASTONBURY, Conn.–Open Solutions and Superior Press have entered into a marketing alliance under which both organizations will work together to provide Open Solutions’ Imaged Payment Technologies Group (IPTG) clients with a state-of-the-art hardware deployment solution for distributed check capture. Superior Press, a fulfillment services provider in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., has made its inventory management and online order entry systems available to IPTG clients “who are in need of a solution to deploy the right scanner, to the right person, at the right time,” the companies said.

USPS FCU Taps Select-A-Branch
KING OF PRUSSIA, Penn.–Select-A-Branch ATM Network (S-A-B) said US Postal Service FCU has out-sourced five branch ATM locations to S-A-B, and also joined the S-A-B Network, providing branded, surcharge-free transactions to its own card holders. S-A-B said its software allows multiple financial to deliver branded transactions through each S-A-B ATM. When the card holder of a participating institution swipes their card at any S-A-B ATM, they are instantly presented with transaction screens branded with the logo, colors and marketing messages of that particular institution. The surcharge is then shifted to the institution, resulting in a surcharge-free transaction to the card holder.
