Fannie Mae Honors Addison Ave.

PALO ALTO, Calif.-Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union recently garnered Fannie Mae's Prime Alliance Credit Union Lender of the Year award for 2007. Addison Avenue earned the award based on performance in several areas, including community outreach, increased loan originations and improved processing efficiencies in the mortgage department.

In 2007, Addison Avenue's mortgage department generated more than 990 mortgages totaling more than $300 million. Of these, more than 475, totaling more than $106 million, were sold to Fannie Mae-a 129% total increase over 2006 (through October) and a 140% increase of mortgages sold to Fannie Mae in the same time period.
