TMG Adds Reloadable Cards
DES MOINES, Iowa-TMG (The Members Group) is now offering general purpose reloadable cards to CU clients. The reloadable card service, called ATIRAreload, allows cardholders (and other authorized users) to load money onto the CU-branded card, which can be used for purchases almost anywhere Visa Debit cards are accepted. The cards also function as ATM cards. Cardholders can load cash onto their reloadable cards in their CU branch, online or via direct deposit, and may also transfer funds from existing checking, savings or credit accounts. The direct deposit feature also allows card holders to create a self-directed payroll card, which means the cardholder initiates the direct deposit at the employer just like any other debit card.

CFCU Moves To PSCU-FS
ITHACA, N.Y.-CFCU Community CU has agreed to convert processing of its 11,000 credit card accounts to PSCU Financial Services. The $520-million CFCU cited the cost savings, marketing expertise and the benefits from being a shareholder in the CUSO in making the move.
Holiday Inserts Now Available
CLEARWATER, Fla.-With the holiday season four months away, Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU) is offering its member CUs free holiday statement inserts for their Visa and MasterCard credit and debit accounts.
Separately, CSCU reported that in December 2007 it offered free marketing kits to its members as a part of a "Wrap-Up Your Holiday Debt" campaign, which included consumer and CU components. Nearly 170 CUs participated and were entered into CSCU's $5,000 Balance Transfer Challenge to recognize the CU with the greatest average outstanding balance growth at the end of the promotional period. The winner was TECU Credit Union from Wichita, Kan., which increased average outstandings of $1,703 as of Jan. 31 to $2,012 as of March 31, an 18.2% increase. Outstandings were up 33%.
KSFCU To Utilize Diebold
BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-Kern Schools FCU said it has integrated 46 full-service image and deposit-enabled Diebold ATMs at all of its branches.
