CUBG Celebrates Two Milestones
PORTLAND-CU Business Group recently attained two milestones. First, it recently signed up Houston FCU as its 250th CU. And, since CU Business Group's inception five years ago, the CUSO has reviewed more than $1 billion in member business loans.
Keys FCU Adopts e-Alert Service
KEY WEST, Fla.-When Tropical Storm Fay was bearing down on Florida, Keys FCU used an e-mail based alert system to stay in touch with its members and employees. The alert e-mails, using a Crisis Management Notification System provided by DigitalMailer, are part of Keys Federal's emergency notification process. The alerts were used to inform members of branch closures and to provide other information. The solution also has a text-messaging component.

Enterprise Donates To NCUF
ST. LOUIS-Enterprise Car Sales said it will make a $25 donation to the National CU Foundation for every used vehicle purchased by CU members and employees during Credit Union Appreciation Month in September. In addition, from Sept. 1-30, every Enterprise used vehicle purchased by a credit union employee will come with a $350 pre-paid gas card as part of a special "We'll buy your gas for a month" promotion. This marks the third consecutive year that Enterprise has made a donation to the National Credit Union Foundation in conjunction with Credit Union Appreciation Month.
