FREMONT, Calif.-Tranax Technologies, Inc., a developer of ATMs and self-service kiosks, has instituted a board of directors.

The new board will have five members who will serve for three years, including three non-executive directors: Wolfgang H. Hausen, Jack McDonnell Jr., and Dr. Kathryn S. Hanson; and two executive directors, Dr. Hansup Kwon and Heemook Kwon, Vice President of Corporate Development at Tranax. Diane Holt Frankel will serve as board counsel.

DEI Founder Becomes Chairman

CINCINNATI, Ohio-Twenty years after founding DEI, Inc. and serving as its president, Richard Grow will assume the role of chairman.

Ned Compton has been named as the president and has said his vision for the design/build firm is to help triple its size over the next five to seven years. Since joining DEI five years ago as the executive VP-sales, sales have increased by 250%, DEI reported.

Compton joined DEI after working in the banking industry for 20 years and the construction industry for seven years, including serving as president of Van Wert National Bank and then as vice president of Compton Construction Inc.
