Members Invited To 'Talk2Us!'

BYRON, Minn.-First Alliance CU has unveiled its "Talk2Us!" call center, which allows members to reach First Alliance tellers between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The old system routed callers to whichever teller was available at any branch, but the new system allows members to reach a teller at the Byron branch on the first try.

Members can use the call center to apply for loans, check account balances, make transfers and more. To accommodate the additional Talk2Us staff, First Alliance moved its teller line to the lobby and added additional part-time tellers to accommodate increased branch traffic.

SBA Loans Available at Achieve

CLEARWATER, Fla.-Achieve CU here now offers U.S. Small Business Administration Patriot Express loans, designed to offer incentives for members of the military and veterans to launch small businesses. Loans can be turned around in about 48 hours and can be issued with less money down and longer terms. Patriot Express loans can be used for business purposes such as start-up costs, equipment purchases, inventory, expansion and more.

Auto-Buying Service For Members

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.- Purdue Employees FCU has partnered with Auto Sales & Service to offer a free auto-buying service to members. The service includes features such as negotiations, financing, GAP insurance and extended warranties, vehicle delivery and selling assistance.

Suffolk Teams Up With Enterprise

MEDFORD, N.Y.-Suffolk FCU has partnered with Enterprise Car Sales to offer the Enterprise Auto Loan Rate program. This exclusive to SFCU members offers rates as low as 1.22% APR when members purchase used vehicles through Enterprise. The offer began in mid-September and runs through Oct. 31.

Coast Launches Student Visa

RALEIGH, N.C.-Coast FCU has launched its Student [CU] Visa card aimed at providing education on credit management. The card is designed for those with little or no credit history and reinforces positive financial behavior by gradually increasing credit limits from $500 to $2,500 over the course of a five-year period.

Balances below $250 are interest free for the first 48 months, while balances above $250 are subject to a fixed 10% APR. At the end of the five-years, all balances are subject to 10% APR.

Harvard Alumni Card Offered

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-Harvard University Employees CU has partnered with the Harvard Alumni Association to offer the Harvard Alumni Card from MasterCard. The card features no annual fee, no foreign transaction fee and no balance transfer fees. Cardholders can also get travel benefits, including reservations without blackout dates. plus ID-theft resolution and more.
