DEDHAM, Mass. – The former office manager of Norfolk County Employees FCU last week was accused of stealing more than $40,000 from the credit union through a variety of schemes.

Elizabeth Starkey, 47, was charged in a federal indictment writing checks to herself, using a credit union debit card for personal expenses, issuing duplicate paychecks to herself and transferring credit union money into her personal account.
She allegedly embezzled $41,216 from December 2006 through last June.
