COLUMBUS, Ohio—The Ohio Department of Commerce announced that Robert W. Rutkowski has been named deputy superintendent for credit unions. Rutkowski will begin serving his new post Feb. 23.
The department said that as deputy superintendent, Rutkowski will work with the Division of Financial Institutions Superintendent Charles Dolezal in regulating Ohio's state-chartered credit unions.
Rutkowski has almost 30 years of experience in the legal profession, including 14 years working with the credit union industry in areas of law, including regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, employment law and real estate law.
He earned his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Akron and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University's School of Law.
