FERGUS FALLS, Minn. - (10/14/04) -- Members of Affinity Plus FCU whovisited the credit union branch here for free flu vaccines lastFriday did not go away hopeless, despite the inability of thecredit union to secure the flu remedy. Instead, credit unionofficials offered them an old-fashioned remedy--a can of chickensoup and a pack of tissues. The idea started off as a joke to helpdeal with the dissapointment, but officials decided to make lightof the situation by offering the alternate remedy to all attendees.Though the members left unprotected from the flu, many left with asmile on their faces.
