BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – OMNI Community CU said yesterday it plans to return $750,000 to members just after New Year’s in the form of a “Cash Rebate.”

Each member’s amount will be based on their relationship with the credit union, with qualifying members earning 0.22% back on their 2009 average yearly loan and account balances.
The $230 million credit union earned net income of $1.2 million for the first three quarters of the year, even after recording a $1.4 million charge for the corporate credit union bailout.
