PORTLAND, Ore. - This Fall OnPoint Community Credit Union is launching credit cards for the first time in its 75-year history.
The CU, which went community in 2006, is the largest in Oregon with $2.6 billion in assets and 186,000 members. OnPoint signed a multi-year agreement for credit processing with PSCU Financial Services.
“Credit is a natural complement to our other lending products, led by our robust auto financing business,” said CEO Robert Stuart. “We feel the timing is right to enter this market with member-friendly card products that will deepen our member relationships.”
