Open Solutions Imaging Systems Inc. (imagic), a subsidiary of Open Solutions Inc. and a provider of check imaging, COLD and document imaging technology, has opened two item processing centers in the Northeast.
The two centers are located in Simsbury, Conn. and Utica, N.Y.
"The recent consolidation of item processing centers in the Northeast has left community financial institutions with limited choices," said Kevin Fahey, senior VP-group manager for Open Solutions. "In speaking with many of these community financial institutions, it became apparent that there was a strong demand for a viable and more economical alternative."
Full inclearing and POD capture, balance and posting are performed at the two centers.
