BEAVERTON, Ore. – The Credit Union Association of Oregon said it will participate in the nationwide REAL Solutions initiative, which offers resources that allow credit unions to expand and enhance programs for low- and moderate-income members and the “unbanked.”
During the pilot year, 21 credit unions will work with CUAO to initiate REAL Solutions products and services in their CUs
“We are thrilled to bring REAL Solutions to Oregon,” said Kasey Rockwell, director of credit union development. “Credit unions in Oregon that are participating in REAL Solutions will be able to tap into the resources of the REAL Solutions program, as well as network with over 600 credit unions across the country to enhance their mission as a member-owned cooperative. Our focus is on helping our members and, ultimately, developing stronger and healthier Oregon families and communities.”
The first REAL Solutions partnership meeting will take place on Sept. 10 in Albany, Ore.
