‘Overtime Bandit' Hits Desert Schools FCU Second Time

PHOENIX – A man who robs credit unions and banks at the end of work days or on Saturdays held up a Mesa branch of Desert Schools FCU Monday just before closing.

It was the second time the robber, known as the “Overtime Bandit,” has hit a Desert Schools branch, following a May 22 heist at the same location.

The FBI says the bandit, who also has hit two bank branches, enters the facility, demands money and flees with help from an accomplice.

Desert Schools is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to his conviction.
