PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Palisades FCU, in response to the recent rise in oil, gas, and food costs, yesterday said it is allowing members to skip their July and August loan payments through a "Take the summer off" loan promotion.
All members that are in good standing can abstain from paying their next two loan payments by having only the interest accrue on their accounts.
Palisades has $150 million in assets and is the largest credit union based in Rockland County, just north of Manhattan.
