PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Palisades FCU is holding a different type of lottery – a chance to win $100,000 by guessing the credit union’s vault code.
The credit union is celebrating the opening of its newest branch location in Orangeburg, and is kicking off a week-long celebration by giving local residents a chance to walk into the branch to receive an actual sample bill from the vault. The sample bill will double as a raffle entry for a $1,000 prize in addition to other giveaways and banking deals. The celebration will culminate on Saturday, May 14, with live celebrity entertainment and an opportunity to guess the vault code for a chance to win $100,000.
“We invite all residents to stop by the branch to celebrate with us throughout the week as well as participate in Saturday’s festivities,” said Mark Welshoff, president of the $150 million credit union. “We hope that one lucky guest can crack the code and go home with the hundred grand.”
Palisades will allow the first 500 visitors over the age of 18 one chance to guess the vault code to win $100,000.
