POCATELLO, Idaho – An Oklahoma man who attempted to rob a credit union in Chubbuck in January while on parole for a 2005 stabbing has been sentenced to a 180-day boot camp program for felony burglary.
Lawrence Jackson, 27, attributed his aborted attempt to rob the credit union to “stupidity” at his sentencing this week.
Jackson, on parole in Oklahoma for a 2005 stabbing on the Fort Hall Reservation, faces the possibility of being returned to federal prison for violating the terms of his parole.
