Patelco CU Moves Out Of San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO – Patelco CU announced yesterday it is moving its headquarters to suburban Pleasanton.

The move of the 150 central office employees and the branch at the site is slated for February 2011.

The $3.7 billion credit union plans to enter into a long-term lease of as many as 15 years, according to its CEO Ken Burns, who cited growth potential, parking, visibility and public transportation as reasons for the move.

Patelco owns and occupies two older office buildings in downtown San Francisco.
