PENSACOLA, Fla. – A new team of superheroes is hitting the area’s billboards – life-sized comic book characters that are going to tout the Pen Air FCU message throughout 2012.
The superheroes purport to be a group of former bank customers who were tired of getting bilked by the big banks through fees, reduced services and the end of rewards programs. “The Patrol is here to save our community from the greedy hands of big banks,” said David Tuyo, president of the $1-billion credit union. “They are strong, they are resourceful and they will help guide members to the bright financial futures they deserve.”
The Patrol includes Money Maven, Debt-Free Diva, Captain Premier, Fee Crusher and the Funder. The superheroes can be seen online at Pen Air FCU’s website, penairpatrol.org, and on Facebook, Twitter and the Pen Air Patrol blog.
