Pennsylvania League’s Jim McCormack Retires

HARRISBURG, Penn. – The Pennsylvania CU Association announced this morning that Jim McCormack, its long-time president and CEO, is retiring at year-end.

McCormack, a native of nearby Scranton, Penn., began his credit union career in 1971.  Prior to joining the League, he held various positions with CUNA Mutual Group, both in Pittsburgh and its corporate headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.

He went to work at the League in 1981 and became CEO in 1992.

McCormack will remain as a consultant to the League’s board through November 2014.

The League has hired Dollar Associates LLC to conduct a nationwide search for a successor to McCormack.
