HARRISBURG, Penn. – Pennsylvania lawmakers on Tuesday approved a bill that will allow the state to sell 47 acres of land in nearby Susquehanna Township owned by the state’s Department of Agriculture to Pennsylvania State Employees CU, where the credit union giant plans to build a new headquarters.

The $3.05 million sales tag was set by an independent appraiser.
The new home will replace the $3 billion credit union’s 10-acre campus and offices at the old armory building on the outskirts of the capital city. It will house the credit union’s existing 500 employees.
