Pennsylvania’s A&S FCU Expands To Community Charter

The $22-million credit union was chartered in 1940 as A&S RR (Aliquippa & Southern Railroad) Employees FCU. Membership was restricted to railroad employees.

Because it recognized a decline in railroad members and a changing economic climate, the A&S board said it sought approval for a community charter.
