PHILADELPHIA – Employees of Philadelphia FCU are preparing to harvest the fruits of their summer, as well as their vegetables and herbs, all of which they planted in the yard of the credit union’s operations center.

Employees are responsible for the maintenance of their own gardens throughout the summer.
Employees will be able to purchase the fresh produce, and the revenue generated from the sale of the fruits and vegetables will be donated to Aid for Friends Frail Elderly Outreach Center, a nonprofit organization that serves free daily home-cooked meals to needy, isolated shut-ins in the Philadelphia area.
