CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Pioneer West Virginia FCU has agreed to merge into it THE-MAC FCU, a one-time $10 million credit union with a declining book of business.
THE-MAC FCU, based in South Charleston, serves employees of Thomas Memorial and Saint Francis hospitals. It has about 1,200 members and $6.5 million in assets.
Pioneer has almost 13,000 members and more than $128 million in assets. It serves Kanawha, Putnam, Roane, Clay, Greenbrier and Fayette counties.
