KINGSPORT, Tenn. – One old member of Kinsport CU may think better of expressing his anger at the drive-thru: 68-year-old Harry Boyer, who was ‘flipping the bird’ at tellers in the drive-thru window was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct Monday.
The elderly credit union member had just left a nearby convenience store where he cussed out employees, then he walked through the drive-thru teller windows flipping employees "the bird."
It was all witnessed by an off-duty police officer who called central dispatch which sent a patrol car and Boyer was arrested near the credit union.
Tellers told police Boyer’s action were "an every day occurrence and Boyer scares the tellers to the point that they usually roll up their drive-thru windows.
