Polish & Slavic FCU Raises $500,000 For Polish Studies At Columbia U

NEW YORK – Polish & Slavic FCU said yesterday it donated $181,000 to Columbia University, making a total of $500,000 contributed to the endowment of the school’s chair of Polish studies.

The donation finalizes a fundraising effort to collect $3 million to fund the project, the first permanent Polish studies curriculum at an Ivy League college.

Polish & Slavic has supported the chair of Polish Studies for five years, donating a total of $500,000 and helping to raise funds from other sources.
