Yodlee, Metavante Team Up

MILWAUKEE, Wis.-Metavante Corporation announced a reciprocal agreement with Yodlee, Inc. that merges Metavante electronic bill payment with Yodlee's credit and debit card payment functionality, and integrates Yodlee solutions with Metavante's electronic bill payment processing capabilities.

Benefits include enabling end users of Metavante online bill pay to make payments with their credit and debit cards. FI's offering Metavante bill pay will be able to change a frequent free service into a revenue-generating opportunity. FI's can also collect interchange fees on payments made through their online bill pay service when members use a credit or debit card issued by the financial institution.

Pay By Touch For Credit Unions

SAN FRANCISCO-Biometric authentication vendor Pay By Touch announced that its Paycheck Secure service is being offered to financial institutions. Paycheck Secure is a biometric check-cashing service that can help CUs generate additional non-interest fee-based income while decreasing the risk of fraud and meeting regulatory compliance requirements.

The Pay By Touch Paycheck Secure service lets people cash checks using a simple finger scan to authenticate their identity and officials said it's already used by more than three million consumers in 1,700 retail locations nationwide.

VISA and Calypso Offer Card

TORONTO, CANADA-Calypso announced that it has obtained approval from Visa to accept VISA International cards at approved ATM locations. ATMs processed by Calypso will now be able to accept International Visa-sponsored cards, an additional 1.5 billion cards worldwide and allows Visa branding to be applied to Calypso ATMs.

DALLAS-Concho Educators Federal Credit Union streamlined its PIN and signature debit card processing with TNB Card Services' single-source, full-service debit card processing solution. The CU converted to TNB's integrated debit processing platform in order to improve operations, enhance card security and reduce costs.
