Affinity FCU Selects AGAC

BASKING RIDGE, N.J.-The $1.3-billion Affinity FCU has selected American General Assurance Company (AGAC), part of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), to service Debt Protection programs to its membership. Affinity FCU will introduce debt protection through its CUSO CUMAnet during the second quarter of 2004. American General Assurance Company (AGAC) has been designated as NAFCU Services Corporation's (NSC) Preferred Partner for Debt Protection program administration since May 2002.

580 ATMs To Get An Upgrade

CINCINNATI-The ATM Exchange, a provider of ATM refurbishing, parts, training and technical support, said that Cash Carriers USA has signed a letter of intent to upgrade 580 ATMs with 3DES Plus, a security solution that makes a wide variety of cash machines compliant with tough new encryption standards. Beginning in February 2004, Cash Carriers will begin installing 3DES Plus, a conversion solution that upgrades almost all ATM models with a new mini processor and encrypting personal identification, better known as Triple DES. Under terms of the contract, Cash Carriers will eventually upgrade more than 2,000 ATMs in Texas, Louisiana and other locations within its service area for financial institutions and off-premise owners that would rather update-then replace-older cash machines. DEI To Build For Credit Union West

PEORIA, Ill.-Credit Union West here has awarded a contract to Cincinnati-based DEI, Inc. to design and build a new branch in this city. The one-story, 5,600-square-foot facility will feature a four lane drive-thru, children's play area, complimentary coffee service for members, and a tech center called "Tech West" where members can access account and product information. InfiCorp Purchases 2 Portfolios

ATLANTA-InfiCorp Holdings, Inc. has purchased the credit card portfolios of the $123-million Houston Postal Credit Union, and the $88-million Hoodview FCU, Killeen, Texas. Both have also entered into long-term lending alliance agreements with InfiCorp for the marketing of credit card products to their members.
