PSECU Issues $10 Million 'Relationship Reward'

HARRISBURG, Pa. — PSECU announced Thursday that it will be issuing a $10 million annual bonus to its membership.

The $4 billion-asset credit union called the special bonus a "Relationship Reward" to help promote the benefits of membership and the not-for-profit, people-helping-people philosophy of credit unions.

To be eligible for the bonus, a member must have certain products and services with the credit union.

The minimum amount a member could receive, PSECU said, is $10, but members with a full, active relationship with the credit union — based on usage of eligible products and services and a percentage based on both the amount the individual member and entire membership received in total dividends and interest paid in the past year — could receive more.

"We're extremely pleased to be issuing the Relationship Reward for the second year in a row," said PSECU President Gregory A. Smith in a statement. "It's one more benefit on top of the everyday value we strive to deliver. Thanks to our members, we're as strong as ever and as a member-owned financial cooperative, it's only right that we give back to them."
