Procura, LLC, the just-opened CUSO owned by four well-known vendors to credit unions, has introduced its first product: the Purchase ONE Visa Card, which is to be used by credit unions to make business purchases from any merchants or vendors that accept Visa.
"What distinguishes the Purchase ONE card from other business cards is its heightened level of efficiency and the control it brings to a credit union's purchasing management process," the CUSO said.
The card uses an Internet-based solution to help control CU procurement, including automatically applying signature controls and spending limits, including maximum transaction and discretionary limits to all purchase requests before the transactions can occur. There is also an online record of every purchase.
Teachers Credit Union in South Bend, Indiana, will be among the first to use the Purchase ONE Visa purchasing card.
