Purdue Employees FCU Rebrands With Merger Of Small CU

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Employees FCU said it is dropping the “Employees” from its name to avoid any confusion on membership eligibility, as it acquires $6 million Members United FCU of nearby LaPorte, Ind.

As the $620 million credit union expands into the new market, it said it will change its name and logo to better reflect its affiliation with all Purdue communities.

The merger is scheduled for completion Dec. 1.
