UNIVERSAL CITY, Texas – Randolph-Brooks FCU will roll out a deposit-by-cell phone service this January.
The $3.4 billion credit union plans to start testing the Web-based product with employees this month before releasing it to qualified checking account holders.
The credit union already had a product that enabled members to remotely scan checks for deposits and mobile applications that enabled members to make fund transfers and pay bills through their cell phones.
The service is being piloted through mShift Inc. in conjunction with EasCorp FCU.
