ROCKVILLE, Md. – REALTORS FCU announced yesterday it promoted Jane Pannier, its executive vice president and former credit union consultant, to be CEO of the start-up virtual credit union.
Pannier, a former consultant with the Rochdale Group and a one-time executive at NAFCU, will succeed Tom Glatt, who resigned as president and CEO earlier this month to move closer to his wife, well-known credit union consultant Diane Johnson.
Glatt was hired by the National Association of REALTORS to start an Internet-only credit union for the association’s 1.5 million members. He built it into $72 million in assets since opening in mid-2008. The credit union reported a $135,000 loss for 2009, its first full year, and a $2 million loss for the first six months of 2010.
Concurrent with Pannier’s promotion to CEO, REALTORS promoted Jesse Boyer, its chief information officer, to chief operating officer.
