ELGIN, Ill. — Lending Solutions Inc. (LSI), which provides contact center services and consulting programs for financial institutions, including credit unions, announced that it processed a record number of loan applications in the month of July, beating the prior high by more than 2.5%.
The firm said it processed 55,137 loan applications in July (including new daily record of 2,655 applications set on July 27), breaking the previous record set in July 2013.
"The summer months have historically been very busy for us at LSI, and this year has been no exception," said Dave Brooke, executive vice president of LSI. "We certainly make a concerted effort during the first two quarters of the year to make sure we are staffed appropriately to assist our clients during the busy lending seasons. We’re proud of the results we&'ve achieved, and as we look to the future, our objective is to continue to provide value-added services to our clients as they seek to grow in a competitive marketplace."
The latest round of applications follows the third anniversary of the company's opening of its second contact center in Naperville, Ill.
