Six regulatory agencies — the Federal Reserve, the CFPB, FDIC, NCUA, OCC and the SEC — announced Thursday that they are extending the comment period until Feb 7, 2014. Comments were due Dec. 24.

A statement from the regulators indicated the extension was given to allow the public more time to analyze the issues and prepare their comments.
